Ariens to Speak to Dallas Lawyers on David Hoffman and Legal Ethics

[We have the following announcement from the very active Legal History Discussion Group of the Dallas Bar Association.]

In Dallas, on Wednesday, November 19, at Noon, at the Belo Mansion, the headquarters of the Dallas Bar Association, the Association's Legal History Discussion Group will present Michael Ariens, Professor of Law at St. Mary's University School of Law and author of Lone Star Law: A History of Texas Law.  His topic will be "Lost and Found:  David Hoffman and the History of American Legal Ethics." There is no charge for the presentation (lunch is available for a reasonable charge), and Texas lawyers will receive one hour of ethics credit for CLE.  Address any questions to Josiah Daniel, the Chair of the Group, at jdaniel@velaw.com.
