Law and Gender in Nineteenth-Century England

Issue 8:2 (Summer 2012) of Nineteenth-Century Gender Studies is devoted to the topic Law and Gender in Nineteenth-Century England.  The guest editors are Julia McCord Chavez and Katherine Gilbert.  Among the contributions are Policing Sexual Morality: Percy Shelley and the Expansive Scope of the Parens Patriae in the Law of Custody of Children, by Danaya C.
