A Delaware Attorney's Commonplace Book (1820-1823)

The Special Collections Department of the Georgetown's Law Library has recently acquired the commonplace book of the Delaware lawyer Robert Frame (1800-1847), who compiled it while reading law in the office of John M. Clayton (1796-1856), who became a Delaware's Chief Justice, U.S. Senator, and U.S. Secretary of State.  Frame was admitted to the bar in 1824 and served as Delaware's Attorney General.
